The Chapel of the Shepherd’s Heart, founded in 1991, is a parish whose mission is “To Walk With the Wounded and Equip the Saints for Ministry.” We seek to train all our parishioners to witness, pray, and minister in a variety of pastoral situations.
We teach the sharing of your faith at several levels, from the newest beginner, to the seasoned evangelist.
We believe that all Christians should be able and willing to pray for anyone, any time, anywhere. In these days, we Christians have this field all to ourselves. God has blessed us with many Divine Appointments, from the shopping center to the living room. Very, very few people refuse the offer of prayer, whether they are Christians or non-Christians.
We believe that ministry is best done by trained laymen and women and that the job of clergy is to train and equip the saints for the work of the ministry.
We offer Soaking Prayer where one would come once a week for six weeks and receive prayer from a trained Prayer Team. A typical session would involve 10 minutes of talking and 50 minutes of prayer. Call for appointment.
Intensive Ministry is a two-hour session with a trained team of Prayer Counselors. We receive referrals from pastors, friends and mental health workers. Usually, half the time is spent in discussing the issues involved and half is spent praying through these issues. By appointment.
We offer Generational Eucharists for the breaking off of spiritual bonds from the past. By appointment.
House Blessings. A ministry team, led by a clergy person, prays through your house for spiritual cleansing.
Prayerlink is a 24/7 prayer line where you would leave your prayer requests and a trained prayer team, respecting confidence, would pray for you. Please call back in a few days for a praise report or update on your situation.
